ADRIAN (MIKE) FORRETTE
As various species of flora and fauna go over into extinction, individual human biography seems absurd, and at the same time, tragic. Suffice to say, that Mike is currently employed as a line cook at a popular steak and seafood restaurant in his hometown of Rapid City, South Dakota. He loves animals and plants. In spite of his occupation, they seem to love him.
And he would be remiss not to mention the invaluable time spent studying creative writing under the direction of professors Richard Hugo, Madeline DeFrees, et al., at the University of Montana. He is forever grateful to his high school creative writing teacher, Myrna Haight, as well -- for her unceasing encouragement, and for her very pragmatic letter of introduction.
